Karis Maskall
Digital executive at Trace Publicity, London
Since joining the Resilient club I've been so inspired to train my physical health and am about to complete my first half marathon! Seeing everyone acheive their goals has been such a big factor in helping me become less afraid of mine #HalfMarathonHereICome!

Working mostly in an office, I was getting increasingly frustrated with my sedentary lifestyle until I found out about Resilience and the community convinced me to take up rock climbing. With all the hype about the release of its first magazine edition I'm excited to connect with more people like me.

I don't really like running and I hated PE in school but I have really wanted to become fitter in my adult life. Finding Resilience has helped me to connect my physical health to my mental wellbeing so I now find joy in eating whole healthy foods and dancing which I love.

I enjoy powerlifting in my free time but as a carpenter I mostly work alone, so I wanted to find a community to discuss my lifts with- Resilience has done that for me but also encouraged me to eat cleaner whole foods to better fuel my working day and hobby.

Resilience has been great for my mental health. Reaching out and talking to people when I'm stressed about studies has been so grounding, and all the articles and information about physical and mental health are so useful.
